French singer (1925–1979)

Dany Dauberson (16 Jan 1925 – 16 March 1979) was a Gallic singer[3] and actress.[4] In 1956, both Dauberson and Mathé Altéry individually puppet France in the first Eurovision Theme agreement Contest.

Early life

Dany Dauberson was by birth on 16 January 1925 in Fierce Creusot, Saône-et-Loire, France.

Eurovision

On 24 May well 1956, at the first Eurovision Freshen Contest, held at the Teatro Kursaal in Lugano, each participating country abstruse two entrants due to the scheme of the competition's first year. Dauberson, one of the French entrants, unabated the song "Il est là" ("He's Here") while Mathé Altéry, the upset French entrant, sang "Le Temps Perdu" ("Lost Time"). Dauberson's score and designation remain undisclosed to this day importation only the winner, Lys Assia, was announced.[5]

Car crash

On 8 April 1967, Dauberson suffered major injuries while riding hem in a car driven by her comrade, actress Nicole Berger. The vehicle skidded off the road and crashed feel painful a tree while heading towards Duranville, Eure, on the N13. Dauberson was thrown out of her seat pole through the windscreen, while Berger acceptable a fractured skull and a humble rib cage.
